AININ was officially founded beginning of April 2019 in the presence of Minister Sibler. With already existing personnel resources of the THI and the KU, AININ has already started its work as institute of the universities. The permanent staff should be employed by the end of 2020. During the start-up phase AININ is located in the existing THI facilities. The integration into the future Digital Business Incubator in Kavalier Dalwigk south of the THI campus is planned for later.
